The " Vigneto delle Terre Rosse " is a little familial estate located in the west hilly zone near Bologna and it was established, as a company totally dedicated to wine growing and wine producing, by Enrico Vallania in 1961. This little "domain" was an old familial Vallania's property and the main role was the vine cultivation. Enrico Vallania was a physician and started his personal wine methodology based on the research of clonal selections and natural wine conservation. Most important "cépages" are Cabernet-Sauvignon, Chardonnay Riesling, Sauvignon, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Merlot and Malvasia. These where selected at Zola Predosa, coming from personal direct experimentation and this is happened before of their spread and their fame.
