Educated Guess is a value-priced wine brand created by the Roots Run Deep Winery in Napa Valley, California. The name signifies the various conclusions to be made regarding wine on all fronts. I am new to wines. I did not think this tasted good at first but then I saw a review that said to let it sit for a while. I so I did some more reading before I took another sip. I tell you that 10-15 minutes in the glass makes all the difference. Take it slow there is no hurry. Read More

You seem to use "wine tourism" and "visiting a vineyard" to mean the same thing but they don't.Visiting a vineyard may or may not be part of "wine tourism" but most people who are tourists have no interest at all in visiting vineyards. If they do, they will look at r... Read More

  • Well the Germans/Austrians/German Swiss that gave practical examples of its use to me also taught me to spell it 'prosit'. If you look you'll see both are in use, with the word coming from the latin 'prosit'. My guess is the pronunciation has evolved towards a truncation of the 'i' so the spelling without it also came into play. Educated version... Read More

  • I am simply suprised! I am very impressed with how well this wine pairs with a fairly wide variety of foods. The percentages of grape type and blending is very smooth. This wine is also very stable. wheather aired or directly poured it remained smooth. Opened and decanted was my best experience. Bravo!!
