  • Anyone have any experience?I've noticed Kelley mentioned among the best company in Oregon Pinot, popular with Somm's and the like. Being a Burgundy lover, I've mostly found CA Pinot painful (though I've found a few I like!), and Oregon Pinot quite a bit more elegant, but sometimes or most of the time more boring rather than painful (as I find wi... • Thought I'd start a topic to see what "different" wines people are drinking. I've been on a hunt to find wines made from lesser known grapes or from unusual areas. • Before I retired I did a stint as chairman of Hawkes Bay Vintners (all the wineries in Hawkes Bay) and was asked to write a short article for the local newspaper. All the wineries offered tasting of most of their wines and sometimes I felt, the public didn't really understand how enthusiastic winemakers were about their product."Lets do the wine... Read More
