Don Simon is a popular value wine produced in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain that has recently become available in the US. The wine was introduced by J. Garcia-Carrion (JGC), producer of Cristalino Cava. They’re packaged packaged in lightweight, recyclable PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottles instead of the traditional glass, and feature a screw top closure. The idea is to promote an enjoyable, everyday table wine with an eco-friendly responsibility. Aside from single varietals and blends, the wines are also available as a pre-mixed sangria and in a boxed version.
