Woody on the nose with jammy fruit underlaid with a rather intense tarry note. With airing this reveals a touch of raw wood, green coffee that gains prominence taking on a chlorine quality. In the mouth this is fairly thick and rich with an extracted feel delivering nice mineral accented fruit on the mid-palate and through the firm, moderately l... Read More

This was a good solid bottle. Perhaps overpriced at the time that i purchased it. Over a good showing. I anticipated that it would have shown a bit more intensity of fruit, it has a decent finish that has some length to it. Not a rock star bottle; however still not dissapointing. I would have it again with out hesitation. Read More

This wine showed intense density of fruit against a large dollop of mout... Read More

The nose showed dusty cherry and cranberry with rose petals and slight sour cream note. On the palate I found velvety red fruit leading to a sweet mid-palate with cinnamon and dark chocolate. This bottle showed underwhelming at first but with a good amount of time in glass it truly filled out and revealed multiple layers that werent seen in my i... Read More

Milk chocolate and café au lait dominate the note at first but are quickly joined by notes of sweet wood, a touch of gaminess, and a top not of menthol. On the palate this is dark and matte with tons of wood showing and a heavy load of drying wood tannins. The fruit does gain the upper hand up front with a sweet, rich dried fruit note, but the t...
