Wow, what a difference a day makes. Opened this bottle yesterday and it was harsh, bitter and green. The tannins overpowered any of the fruit that was there. Left the remainder in the decanter for a day and found a totally different wine. Nice dark cherries, blueberries and blackberries, much softer tannins and very nice acidity. Read More

Decanted on the fly at the dinner table. Opened up nicely in the mouth but not on to the nose. Velvety smooth on the palate, light caramel, mildy tobacco with a dense plummy fruit simulating a newer port. Read More
