In 1953 Bernard Chereau and his partner Edmonde Carre bought the Chateau de Chasseloir followed by three other estates including the Domaine du Bois Bruley.His son and grandaughter now run them.The Domaine du Bois Bruley consists of 17 hectares and produces two white wines, a Muscadet and a Gros Plant du Pays Nantais

    Lemon colour, some small beads (probably owed to the lees ageing). Sweet floral and green fruit notes on the nose. Lemon and salt with a very slight spritz (the lees again) on the palate -- also sherbet notes and a slightly smoky oak hint. Light body and good acid. 12% alcohol. Read More
