David Stone Vineyards is a wine brand owned by E & J Gallo winery. These inexpensive wines have become popular as a private label sold in Walgreens drug stores. The wines are fruit-forward expressions of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.– Description from Amanda Schuster

I was introduced to David Stone Wines 5 years ago and I cannot begin to know just how many bottles of your Merlot I have purchased but I know that it is in the hundreds. I have also introduced many friends to David Stone wines and everyone of them have also become lovers of David Stone wines. Thank you for a great, reasonably priced, wine.
I have shopped various stores looking for a smooth wine at a good cost. Every time I try a new one , I go straight back to David Stone . I love its smooth body and fruit flavor. I've decided to only get David Stone from now on. Friends always ask me about it at parties too.
Not sure if it was a bad batch....but the first sip i took tasted as if it were opened for days. It was too sweet and had a sour taste to it. One glass poured and only took a few sips than poured the bottle out. I'm a nursing mom so when i do have that glass of wine i need it to count. Very unimpressed and saddend on the money I lost in that bo...
Had a rough night at work. Called my wife and asked her to open a bottle of Merlot for me. She said we were out of Merlot. I get home at 1am and she was exhausted. Came home and found David Stone Merlot on the kitchen table. I poured a glass and was instantly impressed. I Googled .And was shocked....Kudos D.S....You have a new fan.
Great wine, especially for the price. I've certainly had more expensive wines that were nowhere NEAR as delciious & smooth! Read More
Anyone have any experience?I've noticed Kelley mentioned among the best company in Oregon Pinot, popular with Somm's and the like. Being a Burgundy lover, I've mostly found CA Pinot painful (though I've found a few I like!), and Oregon Pinot quite a bit more elegant, but sometimes or most of the time more boring rather than painful (as I find wi... Hi everybody I'm a small store owner at the edge of the rust belt, my customers rarely spend over $20 for a bottle, and I am looking to improve my selection a bit beyond what is here now. If you have a minute to help a guy out let me know what you think are the best wines that usually sell for $20 or less. Thanks ! Read More

One French varietal is working its way to the front of the pack after spending many years in the rear ranks of Washington's wine armada, according to a story this past week by Washington-based newspaper The Bellingham Herald. “Rhone varietals have certainly found their niche among Washington wineries and wine enthusiasts,” Herald reporter Dan Ra... I recently had DS California Chardonney and it was fabulous! I thought for certain it would be an expensive wine, but it's an off shoot of E&J Gallo. My hats off to them!

I love this wine so much! I buy it all of the time and I've never had a bad batch. Fortunately, the great thing about wine is that it doesn't have to be expensive to be delicious. The cabernet is my favorite. Thanks so much!

Bravo! Compliments on your Shiraz! My husband loves red wine and is very picky about what he drinks, BUT he really enjoys your Shiraz (his favorite!)!! We do have some trouble in getting it here because our wine store seems to have problems with its delivery system! When they did get it in I bought a case for Steven! Keep up the good work!
For being an inexpensive variety of wines, I was super surprised when I ran across this brand. I usually don't spend under $17 for a decent bottle of wine that is under a 2 year vintage. I didn't have my debit card on my person, only a few dollars cash; I am glad I picked this brand. When I pulled the cork, I was very pleased at the aroma. I acq... Read More
