Our winery is located in Monterey County, California where warm days give way to cool nights as the fog rolls in off of the Pacific Ocean. It’s this cooling influence that slows the growing process, increasing the time the grapes “hang” on the vine and thereby allow our grapes to mature a little slower than in hotter regions. Slow growth and cool weather leads to a more balanced level of acids and sugars, thereby adding to the complexity and structure of the wines of the Central Coast. This region is poised to become one of the newest and most exciting viticultural opportunities in the coming years. This slow pace continues in our cellar where we take the time to craft wines that are complex, rewarding and hand made. Gentle pressing, cool fermentation, malolactic fermentation, and long barrel aging in small barriques allow us to elevate our wines so that they are rich, creamy and downright delicious. Although a bit thin on the palate, pleasant, clean, bright flavors of cherry and Pinot Noir. This wine however is too sweet for me and will probably avoid it for that reason alone. Read More

A little too strong on the citrus flavor, which leads to a less than spectacular finish. Still decent - it just wouldn't be my first pick for a sauvignon blanc. Read More

This is an easy go-to wine, an uncomplicated blend that pairs well with food or simply on its own. Keep a bottle on hand for weeknight meals. Read More

This is a very crisp, citrus sauvignon blanc. Very refreshing, but very strong citrus flavor that some may not care for. Read More

Being a fan of sauvignon blanc I was pretty disappointed when I cracked open this bottle. It was bitter and left an awkward after taste in my mouth. The hint of grapefruit was there. Semi dry and not overly sweet. Read More

Delightfully deep hue for a simple table red. As dark as a James M. Cain novel, this wine might just be equally as schizophrenic. Is it a Zin? A Merlot? Or do I detect a discreet Syrah? Sip the mystery for under 10 bucks and decide for yourself. Read More
