  • Cristom Pinot Noir Mt. Jefferson Cuvee Willamette Valley 2017

The Cristom Mt. Jefferson Cuvee is a clear, translucent cherry in the glass with a thin scent of strawberry confit overlain with vanilla and a hint of decaying forest floor. Entry is quite full bodied, balanced, smooth and slightly warm with leather and strawberry predominating on the palate. Finish lingers. Very nice and well priced in the US... Read More

  • Are thoughts of Thanksgiving Pinot starting to dance in your head? It’s ... ... you will find in a 1992 Cristom Vineyards Willamette Valley Chardonnay. In 2015, this wine is a sublime example of venerable Chardonnay. The problem is, you may not be able to find it. (I was fortunate enough to score a rare glass.) While the Willamette Valley has... Bright, crisp red and black cherries, a touch of red grapefruit on the nose and palate, bracing acidity and a medium to long finish. This is what Willamette pinot is about - getting you as close to Burgundy as possible without leaving the States. Read More
