  • We drink a lot of Crane Lake wines (1.5 cases/week) in our household. Can you tell us why the corks in the bottles of Chardonnay are so hard and wreck just about every corkscrew known to man? The corks in all other variatals are just fine, as are the corks in the 1.5litre bottles of Chardonnay. We look forward to your comments and recommendation...

  • To echo Beachnut57, this Malbec has the necessary acidity to stand up to red sauces. I am of the belief that if you have to sugar you red sauces you are using the wrong tomatoe products. This is a dirt cheap wine that will complement any tomatoe based recipe within reason. There is really almost no malbec character to the wine. I will assume...
