  • Crane Lake Cabernet Sauvignon California 2006

    Snoothrank:

After having this Cab I was surprised to see how cheap it was. Medium to light bodied with just enough acidity to keep you interested. The flavor was somewhat muted but a little bit of spiciness at the end made this wine unique. The finish was short. Not bad for $3-5 but I would not see spending more than that for a bottle of this. • Crane Lake Chardonnay California 2005

    Snoothrank:

This is the best $4-5 bottle of Chard you'll find. Refreshingly different from most cheap CA chards. Much more French styled. Little/no oak, crisp. Nothing complex about it, but it's a great summer sitting on the patio chardonnay. I always have it on hand, and it's so cheap I cook with it, too. Read More
