Crane Wines is a small, friendly, family owned and operated boutique winery and vineyard. The grand old colonial homestead, and the quaint cellar door are perched high on the Booie Range, with breathtaking views east over the valley. Cranes is situated just 10 kms from Kingaroy in the beautiful South Burnett region of South East Queensland (map). With warm days and cool nights, the climate is similar to the Hunter Valley region of NSW. Cranes was the first winery to open it's doors in this young but growing wine region, and offers visitors "a wine to suit all palates", in sweet, dry, sparkling and fortified styles. Many have been medal and trophy winners. On most days you can meet the winemaker and find answers to all the questions about winemaking you have always wanted to ask, and you can meet the Dylan, the winery's greeting dog who will greet you, tail a-wagging in the car park and escort you to the cellar door.
