Covenant Winery on SnoothMarch 2015
There's also Covenant and a bunch of others. Many of them are, more or less, pretty good. None of them that I have had has ever been better than pretty good. All of them have cost much more than they should have for the source of the fruit and for the quality of the wine. Why is that the case? It's not that the wine has to be processed in a... Read More

Made a trip to Pahrump Nevada today to play a round of golf with my friends at Mountain Falls GC. Amazing course! Rated #1 in Nevada and the #7 public course in America. Who would have thought a course that nice could be located smack dab in the middle of basically no-mans land.Because the trip is 45 minutes from Vegas, I decided to visit the wi... Read More

He claims that scores of 70-79 are "average" while those of 80-89 are "above average to excellent... Read More

Ever the masochist, I decided to go look at some prices in the marketplace after the ratings were released. Some samplings:2009 Chatau Latour 100 points $21,500 a case2009 Chateau Marg... Read More

Since my queries of this nature are usually tagged to the end of other threads of (somehwat) related nature, I figured I'd start one of dedicated nature. Hopefully this'll be easier to search for and come back to in the future. Here's an offer from HDH in Chicago. Anything of particular interest, or of relatively good pricing? This offer seems a...
