The Coppo family history intertwines with the development of the City of Canelli, which in the early 1900s had already established itself as the Capital of Italy’s famous sweet sparkling wine Moscato (Muscat). • Coppo Brachetto d'Acqui 2007

    Snoothrank:

A favorite of ours for a decade - happy to see them still in production. A very smooth sparkling wine that pairs wonderfully with Pork Roast. Hints of fresh strawberry and raspberries, with a smooth, "creamy" feel on the palate. Excellent sparkling wine - a steal actually. Read More

  • Coppo Moscato Moncalvina 2010

    Snoothrank:

Sweet honey dipped peach, pear and orange aromas fill the glass topped with hints of Earl Grey tea. Sweet in the mouth but anchored by fine acidity, this delivers a lovely array of bright and vivid orchard and citrus fruit flavors all topped with a hint of dried herb in a seductively creamy package. Soft yet persistently effervescent with a crea... Read More

  • Luigi Coppo Barbera d'Asti Camp du Rouss 2008

    Snoothrank:

A bit dusty smelling on the nose with notes of steeped tea and roasted meat, accented by burnished cherry fruit topped with a fine suggestion of rose petal. On the palate, this is rich and smooth with a streak of acidity that lifts this up like circus tent. The fruit is pure if a bit simple, but the texture here is the big draw. It is fluid yet ... • L'Avvocata Barbera d'Asti DOC Coppo 2009

    Snoothrank:

Fresh and wonderfully textured in the mouth with cool flavors of raspberry and wild cherry with a hint of mulberry. The acidity here is bright and fresh but well integrated with the fruit. There are fine-grained tannins adding a little extra cut to the palate. The purity of the fruit here is lovely and the finish is long and very precise with a ... Read More
