The Coppo family history intertwines with the development of the City of Canelli, which in the early 1900s had already established itself as the Capital of Italy’s famous sweet sparkling wine Moscato (Muscat). The region was also rich in Barbera, but the family followed the trail of sweet bubbles for a little over a century and consolidated.
