Conde de Caralt is a wine producer associated with Freixenet wines, located in Torrelavit in Penedes, Spain. Sparkling wines have been produced under the Conde de Caralt label at the estate since the 1960s, when the former Cavas Carbó of Sant Sadurní d’Anoia was purchased by José María de Caralt Borrell. Not very intense but a very deep red color with some purple hints. Strange candied fruit nose with some hints of raw meat and a definate mineral streak running through it.
