Clos Saint-Denis, birthplace of the famous Pomme de Glace, is located in Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu, and it is here that it carries on its business. On the banks of the Richelieu River, this superb orchard produces its remarkable ciders.
Clos Saint-Denis was founded at the start of the 1990's as a retirement project for ex-minister, Guy Tardif and his wife, Ghyslaine Meunier.
This visionary couple took upon themselves an enormous agricultural task at the time in which they invested much time and passion.
In 2004, Clos Saint-Denis was purchased by the Maison des Futailles whose mission is to preserve the place's agricultural soul and vocation. Production methods, fruit-picking, bottling: each step is carried out in the traditional manner.
