Cherry Hill Winery is a newly-constructed 12,000 square foot winery in Oregon's Willamette Valley. We produce about 7,000 cases of estate-grown Pinot Noir each year from our 90-acre Cherry Hill vineyard as well as Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir Dry Rosé. Our wines are available in select retailers and restaurants, through this website, and in our own Cherry Hill tasting room. Give us a call and our staff will be happy to assist you in finding Cherry Hill wines in your area. From harvest to bottling, it all takes place here amid the gentle greenery and sweeping views of our Eola Hills estate. Come visit our tasting room and see why we're more than just a bottle of wine. – Description from Alejandro

  • Keep the reports coming, Al.  So, far they have been very enjoyable. In the meantime back here in the Western Hemisphere it is a day ending in "y."  You know what that means:  Zinfandel. If I've told this story before, my excuse is that I am old.  Last June the EMark's were driving around Dry Creek Valley with no particular destination.  Mrs. EMa... • Made a trip to Pahrump Nevada today to play a round of golf with my friends at Mountain Falls GC. Amazing course! Rated #1 in Nevada and the #7 public course in America. Who would have thought a course that nice could be located smack dab in the middle of basically no-mans land.Because the trip is 45 minutes from Vegas, I decided to visit the wi... Read More

  • Thought I'd start a topic to see what "different" wines people are drinking. I've been on a hunt to find wines made from lesser known grapes or from unusual areas. Here's one of each. This is a rose made from Cinsault, not too unusual right? Well this is from the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon. Either they don't make very good wine in Lebanon or this bo... Read More

  • Napa Valley grape growers and winemakers wore out their worry beads in 2011. Rain came early, often and didn’t want to go away. It was a cool year as well, forcing winemakers to spend even more time walking the vineyards than usual. Napa Valley is accustomed to dry, warm, sunny growing seasons. It’s Cabernet Sauvignon wines are widely known for ... Read More

  • To welcome fall, and without a doubt the season has arrived, like clockwork, the moment our Labor Day weekend had wrapped up, I have always had a bit of a tradition of opening some Barbaresco. • I believe that folks might already have gleaned that I am somewhat of a Zinfandel fanatic but some of my previous posts. In truth my job has resulted in my drinking less, not more Zin but left to my own devises that would not be the case. Zinfandel remains for me the greatest American wine, both for the sheer joyousness of the wine and the histo... Read More

  • Hey everyone, what are some of your favorite 'everyday' or M-F types of wines to accompany a regular dinner?  I personally have enjoyed the Montoya Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa, and I usually pick it up from Total Wines out here in Virginia.  This is one of those fruit-forward cabs that isn't too complex for me to appreciate, and it usually cost... • California, the land of sunshine, free spirits, and big wines. Right? Yes, of course, all that is true but today we are seeing that free spirited attitude change the paradigm for wine production. Some might say that we are witnessing a return to a different style of wine. Fresher, lower in alcohol and having more in common with wines produced se... Read More
