Chateau Potelle Winery

I received this wine as a gift. My experience was a medium strong, confident bouquet, with a smooth taste and satisfying finish. I really enjoyed it.

Simply awsome!!!!. Everything you would expect from a great chardonnay. Berries, low acidity the usual. It just taste great. Not as buttery as a Sonama Cuterer but at a higher taste and experience level.

Lovely nose of mushroom, earthy tones and smells like Santa Barbara to me. Dark concentrated fruit, plum, with very earthy dirty notes. I really enjoyed this wine because it actually had some form of midpalate. 89 pts.

It's a bit dense as far a Zins go. It's packed with forward dark berries on the nose, but kinda mellows in the mouth. A bit of surprising oak, with a deep finish. Leaves you with the feeling of a chewy separate course.

If you like Zin, this lives up to it's acronym...Very Good, er, Stuff.
