  • Chateau Pesquie Terrasses Ventoux 2012

    Snoothrank:

A touch leafy on the nose then filling with dark raspberry/blackberry aromas along with lovely spicy, herbal base notes and a touch of licorice. Showing a hint of flesh on entry, this fills out gently in the mouth with soft tannins and good supporting acidity supporting clear and fresh red currant and blackberry flavors. Theres a little inheren... Read More

  • Chateau Pesquie les Terrasses 2011

Lovely aromatics of violet, lavender, mulberry, hints of black tea, orange peel, dried rose petal, red currant and black cherry, Indian spice, black plum and some blackberry jam. • Pesquie Viognier Vin de Pays 2007

    Snoothrank:

Far less aromatic than one would expect. Subdued nose. It has a lovely perfume on the palate of melon, flowers, honey, etc. it dies have a richness to the feel. The only thing that was a bit odd for me, is this has a soapy quality that some Viognier wines have. I can accept it's part of it, just a bit odd and noticeable.. All in all, good w... Read More

  • Chateau Pesquié Cotes du Ventoux les Terrasses Selection Speciale 2001

    Snoothrank:

Dusty nose of dried red berry fruit and dried leaves. Strawberry. Hints of black tea and rose petal. On the palate, it's savory and still retains great berry fruit. Some roasted coffee and dark chocolate tones. Loads of red and black fruit emerge on the nose and palate with more time and air. Great structure and balance and once open, it c... Read More

  • I've no great distinguished palate, but I love this vineyard. I like the Terrasses I have tried several years, but I love Quintessence. Quintessence is less acid, and has an extremely rich mouth-feel and exceptionally complex and layered yet unsubtle taste. For the price it's one of the best wines I have had, makes me wish I had a cellar.
