Brilliant Rudy Red. Nose of wild blueberry, smoked bacon, fall leaves and chalk dust. Flavors of Black cherry and anise on the initial attack that turns a little raisiny but with a soft texture that carries it well. Over time a hint of beet juice emerges from this intense fruity wine. Dark, deep ruby color. Nose is very inviting with spice cookies, fig, lead pencil, beef broth with a hint of skunk. Smooth, medium body. Blackberry fruit, spice and slightly herby.
