The Domaine of Château Laquirou belongs to the Family Erika and Eckard Hug-Harke. It lies in the Massif of La Clape near the Mediterranean coast, a few kilometres away from the historic city of Narbonne. La Clape(pile of stones in occitan) is the jewel of the Coteaux du Languedoc. The location of Château Laquirou is exceptional: it nestles in a shallow south-facing basin that is sheltered from the dominant winds. The 38 ha of vineyards are surrounded by 60 ha of unspoiled garrigue, with its wealth of plant species and wildlife.
