The 2006 Corbin fought hard to resist cork closure extraction but finally yielded. The nose of cherry, cranberry, and licorice is typical and inviting; on the palate there is belt leather, cherry and lingering tannin with a surprisingly lengthy finish (there is a hint of cinnamon also).
