This estate was originally owned by Jean-Louis Lacour but he sent most of his production to a negociant. It was bought by Canadian Philip Holzberg in 2001 who bottled and sold the wine himself. He was sadly killed in a road accident in 2010 but his widow Sophie has continued to run the estate. It consists of 10 hectares spread over three plots a mile apart and is in the process of going organic

I bought this bottle of wine for £15 from www.robersonwines.co.uk in West London. The wine is a bit heavy in tanins right now and could benefit from some cellaring, but is very drin... Read More

  • I'm hoping the Snooth community can help me out with some recommendations. I've have had a couple Argentinian Malbec and Malbec blend wines in the last couple of months that I really enjoyed and I was hoping that I could get some recommendations to expand what I've tried. I'm looking up to $50 but realistically more in the $15 to $30 range. L... Read More
