Chateau Fayau is located in the small town of Cadillac on the east bank of the Garonne river some 20 miles south of the City of Bordeaux. It was bought by a Jerome Medeville in 1826 along with 12 hectares of vines.It is still in his family today although they have bought a number of other Bordeaux properties in the years since World War Two so they now have a very large business producing a range of red,rose and white wines.– Description from duncan 906
