Place is unbelieveable. The locals consider Bonnezeaux a small step below Quarte de Charme for the aging ability of these wines. However, I assure you Bonnezeaux is worth the price. Most Americans want a wine that is ready to drink now, and Bonnezeaux can be enjoyed soon after purchase or cellered for nearly as long as the best Quarte de Char...

this is a great wine, especially for the value. It has a strong nose and then hits the back of the tongue with a little kick. Sort of tangy. Really great with hard pecorino or semi soft Port Salut cheese. Read More
