Chateau Cadillac

+ Add a winery image

Château Cadillac is a 13th century estate near Fronsac in Bordeaux, France. The wines produced here are affordable, everyday table wines in regional blends. The signature red is a Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon and the white is Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon. Cadillac also produces a “modern” range of wines that are more fruit-forward expressions of the same grapes, as well as a rosé.

  • Chateau Carignan Cadillac Cotes de Bordeaux 2010

This wine from the Cadillac Region of the Cotes de Bordeaux is simply stunning for the price and provenance; the secret is not just the 2010 vintage, but is the lower Merlot content (70%) which allows for more backbone. There is a lot of soft oak tannin (will age a further 3-5 years) resting on a bed of rich blackberry and wet loam. Finish is q... Read More

This famous French sweetie is served at posh dinner parties and top restaurants around the world, usually in those silly little ‘thimble’ glasses but hey, let’s talk about the wine itself for a minute. The Sa... Read More
