October 2012
Château Beaumont Red Bordeaux Blend Haut-Médoc 2006
Snoothrank:
Color is very dark and rich. The nose is somewhat muted but I detect hints of dark fruits. On the palate the tannins are well integrated with the dark fruits along with a hint of vanilla. Although the finish was rather short, the wine does have fairly nice structure. I should have decanted this for at least an hour. This might have produced more... Read More

Rote Beeren in der Nase, leider ein sehr starker Alkoholgeschmack im gaumen. Etwas zu aggressiv. Abwarten! Read More

January 2012
If I were anywhere near New York on the 29th I'd be going to this event. Great wine, interesting winemakers, and lots of old posters, art nouveau or otherwise. Why is it I'd rather have one of them on my wall then a Flash banner ad from the Web?Price seems like more than a bargain, and the money goes to charity, too.... ... Here's your chance ... Read More

April 2010
Château Beaumont Red Bordeaux Blend Haut-Médoc 2006
Snoothrank:
The nose is reminiscent of raspberry-chocolate coffee. Color is typical of the region - dark, transluscent cherry-red. Entry is pleasant - if lightweight mid-palate. Tannins are soft and the wine is drinking well redolent with soft, slightly acidic red fruit scent and flavor. For a property producing in excess of 600,000 bottles per vintage,... Read More
