Château Beard La Chapelle
v THE TEAM
Brother and sister are the 9th generation at the head of the family property. Franck is the winemaker and runs the estate whereas Laurence is responsible for the sales in France and abroad and manages the branding of the domain.
v THE VINEYARD
The 18-hectare property, in clay and limestone soils on the slopes and deep sands on the base of the slopes, is in appellation Saint Emilion Grand Cru. The average age of the vines is 60 years and the planting density 5,500 vines/hectare and 7,600 for the plots that have been replanted. The annual production is about 100,000 bottles.

Awarded in international competitions as flagship of the appellation Saint Emilion Grand Cru and graded by famous wine experts, the wines of Château Béard La Chapelle are characterized by their elegance and finesse.
