Around 1900 our great Grand-father Emile Bodin decided to become a wine cultivator in Cassis and created the Clos Val Bruyere vineyard. Almost 100 years later our family decided to change our lives and to reoccupy the vineyard and become wine producers ourselves. In the same year we acquired the Chateau Barbanau vineyard, which since 1960 sold the totality of its grape production to the local wine cooperative and the winery was abandoned . We rebuilt the winery and storage and in 1989 we produced our first vintage. – Description from markomkc
