Champagne Varnier-Fannière
The FANNIERE Family started growing grapes in 1860. At this time, wine growers were selling all there grapes to the Champagne négociant house because they did not (and still do not) have enough vineyards of their own to produce the quantity of wine they needed to sell all around the world. The grapes from the most famous villages (Grand Cru) like Avize were the most sought after and were often used to produce the Cuvees de Prestiges.
