Cecilia Beretta, pride of the Pasqua Family, was born at the beginning of the eighties as an agricultural company dedicated to research and advanced studies. The name originates from the splendid Beretta Villa, built in the seventh century in Mizzole, in the eastern zone of the Valpolicella region, by the count Giuseppe Beretta, former mayor of the city of Verone, agronomist and rural poet. The Pasqua family bought the vineyards of Mizzole, Mattaranetta and San Felice around the end of the 1940s. Special attention has been given to these vineyards since the beginning of the 1980s, when Pasqua's consolidation in the international market enabled the company to dedicate significant resources to increasing the potential quality of its production. – Description from Kursulla
