Situated between Narbonne and Beziers, “the land of Rugby”, on exceptional soil, surrounded with and protected by the Caroux and the Espinouse Mounts (as a backdrop), our winegrowers have been producing one of the greatest wines of the Languedoc region, the A.O.C Saint-Chinian, classified French top quality wine, since 1982. The North is the kingdom of the schist and sandstone soils dating from the primary era whereas. The South is composed of great calcareous formations gradually brought there by the sea during the second and third era. An extraordinary geological and climatic diversity gives Saint-Chinian wines a particular character which confers to each wine its own originality, and as such, an increasing quality. – Description from AlexJelena

  • Cave des Vignerons de Buxy Montagny Premier Cru "Les Millieres" 2006

Was taken in by the Premiere Cru status on the label, in truth it was very ordinary and the price should have given that away. Only a slight butteriness but largely apricot and apple, pretty standard white. Read More

  • Bourgogne Mcon Villages 2006

A strawyellow light white wine.Smooth and very drinkable with a herbal sweet appearance. The viscosity is a bit on the light side which makes it perfect as an appetizer or it going along with light dishes (starters, salads etc.).My guess is that the wine is made of approx. 35 % Chardonnay and 65 % Pinot Blanc.
