I just can't help but feel like both WA and WS are rating wines higher then they have in the past. These thoughts are coming from my true love in wine, Barolo. I remember reading reviews on wines from 1996, 1998, 1999, 2001 (all great vintages) and for some of the best producers in that region I would see scores of 90 - 94 for some of the best... Read More
Very sweetly fruited on the nose with lots of pipe tobacco and sweet cherry fruit cut by nuanced mineral and spice tones.
