I remember reading reviews on wines from 1996, 1998, 1999, 2001 (all great vintages) and for some of the best producers in that region I would see scores of 90 - 94 for some of the best... Read More
Very sweetly fruited on the nose with lots of pipe tobacco and sweet cherry fruit cut by nuanced mineral and spice tones. The palate is also full of sweet fruit with abundant tannins that are round and polished adding a very fresh feel to this youthful wine. Nicely balanced for future development. 91pts Read More
