Since 1928, the Botter family has been producing wines under environmentally
friendly policies and with innovative production techniques and technologies.
Today, the company is managed by the family’s third generation and
specializes in wines of the Veneto. They have the following certifications:
VISION 2000, ISO 14.001, BRC and IFS. The origins of the carousel artwork comes from medieval riding fairs in the north
of Italy. These elaborate “equestrian ballets” took place in royal courts and
featured lavishly decorated horses and highly skilled riders performing
synchronzed formations. Popularity lead builders to replicate them by
designing rotating platforms with mounted wooden horses for children to
ride. The carousel has been the centerpiece of La Fiera, The Fair, for centuries

  • La Fiera Pinot Grigio 2015

Pale lemon color, light peach and melon aromas. Delicate and light flavors of tart lemon, melon and a nice citrus zestiness. Nice, clean palate on this classic Pinot Grigio. Read More

  • Botter di Maria Prosecco DOC NV

Light melon and lemon aromas are slightly waxy and have a touch of tropical fruit as well. Tangerine and melon flavors with enough fresh acidity to buoy this, it's a clean light prosecco with toast and yeast notes to finish out. Read More

  • La Fiera Soave 2012

Parmesan cheese and green apple aromas open for this inviting and interesting blend. Flavors are tart and refreshing, with lemon zest, melon and aged cheese rind. There's enough acidity to prop up the wine until the very end, where it falls off a bit. Not a wine for everyone but if you're a fan of a wine with cheese notes, this is truly delicious. Read More

  • Resonata Nero Davola 2006

A gentle Sicilian, with calm red fruit flavors, mild acidity. I enjoy this wine and got compliments on it when I took a bottle to a small gathering a few weeks ago. Better ones are out there for sure but the value factors a bit into my scoring. Unscrew and enjoy with red sauce over home-made pasta or grilled eggplant and radicchio. Read More
