Casa Lapostolle on Snooth

Drank this in 2009. The wine was probably on the decline, but was still quite drinkable and interesting. The fruit was very subdued and the acidity seemed a tad too high. The tannins were smooth.

I agree with the notes on the nose from Vegas Oenophile, definite developed fruit leaning towards pineapple. It was a great companion to some Mediterranean appetizers both for the balanced oak, and for its general ability...
