Candoni is a brand of wines from Arel Group, produced in Italy. The Candoni family has a rich history of wine production dating back 150 years. The wines are classic Italian favorites such as Chianti, Pinot Grigio, Moscato, Prosecco as well as Merlot and Pinot Noir. The eye-catching labels feature recreations of ancient Roman images to depict the idea of tradition and respect for history.

    Snoothrank:

Effervescent mouthfeel is extremely fruity with notes of peach and apricot, honey and oranges. In the mouth this is delicate and honeyed with lots of ripe red apples, pear and floral notes of orange blossom and a slight touch of tart lemon on the finish. Read More

  • Candoni Prosecco Brut NV

    Snoothrank:

A hint of almond and yeast on the nose with light honey. Tart lemon and melon notes with puckering acidity and bright flavors with sharp bubbles that melt away towards the midpalate. Comes off clean in the mouth and showing pleasant minerality and finishing with a touch of toasted yeast. Read More

  • Tenuta Polvaro Polvaro Nero 2011

    Snoothrank:

Red fruit immediately on the nose with some stony minerality and a bit of petrol along with some vanilla. Fig and red cherry flavors in the mouth are not living up to their potential, and are slightly thin and mixed with some more minerality that is not unpleasant but perhaps a bit out of place.82 pts Read More
