Brookland Valley is situated in the heart of Margaret River in the Wilyabrup subregion, within reach of the Indian Ocean's breeze. Established in 1984, we have evolved and grown to be renowned for outstanding wines that are considered benchmarks, displaying truly unique regional characteristics. We are honoured to be the region's most highly decorated producer in Australian wine shows, and named “Winery of the Year” in the highly regarded James Halliday Australian Wine Companion 2009 Edition. – Description from naomiborthwick

Tried this in April 09. Strong nutty notes on the nose and lightish in colour. Citrus lemon and nectarine rather than tropical fruits and quite noticeable buttery flavours but balanced by still lively acidity that I found surprising in an Aussie wine of this age. Would last another 2-3 years with no problem, probably longer. Read More

  • Brookland Valley Chardonnay 2000

Rich wine with a nutty vanilla quality, lot of ripe fruit and a minerality that run throughout. Had with some fish, Awesome wine. Starting to show it's age with some oxidative notes and a creaminess that over-rode the citrus that was there before. [NR] Read More
