Bridlewood Winery was designed for high-quality, artisan winemaking. Just inside the adobe façade of this Spanish-style winery, state-of-the-art equipment is the order of the day: pneumatic bladder presses, temperature controlled fermenters, gentle grape and wine handling systems, and the finest European and American oak barrels. Our intimate winery is the perfect workshop for winemaker David Hopkins, who selects grapes from dozens of Central Coast vineyards to create his intense , lush Pinot Noir, aromatic Viognier and elegant Chardonnay. Each wine is as unique as the Bridlewood property itself. – Description from JelaDragoljevic

  • Bridlewood Estate Winery Blend 175 2011

    Snoothrank:

Deep and candied on the nose with lots of caramel, toasted oak, and black fruit with floral and peppery spice notes framing a meaty core. Big and round in the mouth with early notes of meaty fruit, sweet vanilla and black plums on the palate that pick up a little light coffee cream, caramel and a little peppery spice on the backend before fadi... • Bridlewood Estate Winery Pinot Noir Monterey 2009

    Snoothrank:

This 2009 Pinot Noir from Monterey, California is good. Deep crimson color with a mid to tight rim variation. Fruit notes of plum and black cherries and plum with a hint of vanilla and toasted oak. It has a long finish on the palette with balanced acidity. This wine will mature nicely over time (peak 2016-2019). Best served chilled to 60 degrees... Read More

  • I am a big fan of David Hopkins' syrahs and simply don't understand why Bridlewood doesn't get more attention. His dedication to the Rhone style and his passion are evident in every sip and it is simply a beautiful vineyard to visit. I am generally an Argentinian and Spanish wine drinker, but I always have a few bottles from Bridlewood in my a...

  • I visited this winery a couple of years ago. The grounds are really nice. I liked the Syrah and have purchased many times since. I didn't keep track of the year but the last one I had was the 2003 Reserve. It's good for the price.
