This 2009 Pinot Noir from Monterey, California is good. Deep crimson color with a mid to tight rim variation. Fruit notes of plum and black cherries and plum with a hint of vanilla and toasted oak. It has a long finish on the palette with balanced acidity. This wine will mature nicely over time (peak 2016-2019). Best served chilled to 60 degrees... Read More

My Rating: 85. Very fruity dry body with little interesting notes. Nose is clean with no hint of Oak but some fruity notes. Wine is overpriced and does not deliver. It is called Blend 175 because they tasted 175 wine casket to blend this. Did they really have to combine the lower grades? If you find 3 good caskets this would be enough! Read More

His dedication to the Rhone style and his passion are evident in every sip and it is simply a beautiful vineyard to visit. I am generally an Argentinian and Spanish wine drinker, but I always have a few bottles from Bridlewood in my a...

I visited this winery a couple of years ago. The grounds are really nice. I liked the Syrah and have purchased many times since. I didn't keep track of the year but the last one I had was the 2003 Reserve. It's good for the price.
