Brancott Estate

Brancott Estate wines honour our original Marlborough home - Brancott Vineyard.

It's now more than 30 years since we introduced the world to a wine style unlike anything experienced before. We were the first to plant and create the world’s first Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc wine – a style that has since changed the course of New Zealand's wine industry.

While Marlborough is our home, we also craft wines from other renowned winegrowing regions of New Zealand – wines that continue to be judged among the best in shows the world over, and most importantly - by wine lovers such as yourself.

  • Brancott Vineyards Pinot Gris 2010

    Snoothrank:

Lots of sweet pear and hints of peach skin on the nose framed with hints of confectioners sugar and a hint sweet herb. Pretty big and certainly fruity on entry. The sweet pear fruit is really prominent int he mouth, supported by a touch of residual sugar and solid acidity but a slightly bitter apple tone gains some traction on the mid-palate of... Read More

  • Brancott Pinot Noir 2009

    Snoothrank:

Very good pinot for the money. Transparent purple color with a light body, silky mouth feel. Hints of cherries on the nose with an equal taste of red berries. Nicely balanced acidity with a subtle but pleasant finish. Great if you want a red for seafood or chicken. Read More

  • Brancott Pinot Noir Reserve 2006

    Snoothrank:

Light even for a pinot noir, but very good at this price. Shows tawny in 2011, nose of a higher priced pinot. If you can find it, get it and enjoy it in the near term. Read More

  • This CA girl tasted a pretty decent NZ sauv blanc at a gallery opening in SF last nite.  It was not an expensive wine... was a Koura Bay Awatere Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2009.  Looked it up... was abt. $12, nothing exceptional.  But it piqued my curiosity...Any recommendations for a wonderful NZ Sauv Blanc?  This one had lots of citrus, pineapple,...
