Utterly delicious for a bourgogne rouge. This bottle has sold out at my local wine shop, thanks to me and the salesperson that recommended it to me. Try to find it, and then buy it.
Nose is musky and forest-like, sort of like men's cologne. Lots of currant with a little raspberry on the end. Light tannins, light acid, but still good medium body and finish. Unsure what this would pair with, food-wise.
A little bit too strong to my taste, but still very good value. most expensive wine i've tested so far.
Minerally and light. So good.
pale straw, apple pear and un-toasted oak with undernote of mushroom on nose. medium light body, medium finish. clean but not distinct. As an aside, 1/2 ounce of this wine spilled on my laptop screen killed the display--so...
