  • I loved the work they did. The workmen cleaned up at the end of every day and my house was never a mess. My bathroom will never be the one.

In my ever-continuing search for quality, consistency and affordability I have found the Bota Box Zin to meet all three of these criteria. The quality is that of a good table wine one would find in a café in Italy or France and is consistently solid. As for affordability, at $17 - $19 for a 3 liter box (4 bottles) you cant beat the price! Thi... Read More

  • Bota Box Pinot Grigio 2011

At ~ $20/box, this comes to $5/bottle. Great for "wine time" on a budget: not too sweet, pleasingly dry. In terms of boxed wines, this is the best I've tried. And better than many cheap bottled wines too. Read More

  • Bota Box Riesling 2011

Nice intensity here with floral, tomato, and lime oil notes. This is gently sweet, and fairly rich with a bit-o-honey on entry followed by soft golden apple and apricot flavors spritzed with some lime. The finish shows a bit more sweetness and a nice dusty honeycomb edge with plenty of sugar-enhanced length. Certainly quaffable if a touch dull a... Read More

They serve this at my salon, and I think the Bota Box wines live up to this setting well. Also good for camping or floating the river... anywhere you can't bring glass. I hope that the standard of more eco-friendly wines continues to rise. Read More

  • Bota Box Old Vine Zinfandel 2011

Bought a tiny tetrapak of this off an impulse rack for $4.99. Call me curious. There's fruit on the nose but it withers in the heat; one-note jammy black fruit on the palate, with a dark, pruney shadow that settles in along the edges of the tongue. Not so much a "finish" as an aftertaste. Not offensive, but also not even up to other box (yellow+... Read More

  • I have tried the Bota Box Zinfindel (I think 2009) and the Cab. I liked them both. I think I like the Cab a little better though, it has a bit more substance to it. I generally love wines in the $15-$20/bottle range yet this is a nice everyday wine that is affordable and has flavor. I have found many cheap wines to be flavorless and watery.....
