  Muscat Vin de Glaciere Bonny Doon Vineyard 2005

  I'm not much on sweet wines, but this dessert wine is delicious without tasting sugar-fortified like so many others. I'd highly recommend it for anyone who loves a sweet wine, and for those newcomers who can't yet handle anything dry.

I definitely want to visit Carmel, I've been an admirer of the photographs of both Ansel Adams and Edward Weston for long enough to make this a must-do stop.   I could be wrong, but I think Bonny Doon sold the Pacific Rim line to someone else, as part of Randall Graham's downsizing/refocusing. So while I'm pretty sure you'll still find the wine around, I think you need to completely decouple your search from Bonny Doon. I did a quick search on Vinquire.com and had multiple hits. You may need to mail order, I didn't look to see whether any are local to St. Louis.    (hide)
