Bodegas Riojanas, S.A. was founded in 1890 by several of Cenicero’s old familias who possessed a long-standing wine-making tradition and a large number of vineyards in the township. The propietors have been winegrowers, producers and exporters from the beginning, own the best vineyards in the region.

Very smoky apon opening with an herbal/minty cough lozenge tone and a bit of sweet pork fat on the delicate nose, perhaps some faded dried floral tones are lurking in the background as well.
