Read moreThis smells great; its full of fruit over a light dose of toasty oak and framed with notes of earth, vanilla bean, tarragon and lovely floral nuance. A touch soft on entry, this is broad and not too rich, quite well proportioned in fact. The fruit is fresh, and fairly deep if not exhibiting the complexity of the nose. Easy drinking and expressive with more detail on the back end with building herb and floral notes. The finish shows some heat and is a touch short. Well made and easy to understand. 87pts    (hide)

Read moreLovely nose with some milk chocolate notes floating under slightly brambly, slightly herbal wild cherry, wild strawberry fruit. There are also nice hints of smoke and almost flint/metallic elements as well. Rather bright on entry with a fair amount of covering flesh here. This is rich and well balanced, rather suave for a Crianza with a lovely core of herb inflected red fruit on the palate. The finish shows brighter fruit, more strawberry with some vanilla, tight if small tannins and lingering acidity. A pretty nice wine, not terribly complex but it feels rather expensive in the mouth. 87pts    (hide)
