I didn't like this wine as much as I expected I would - to me it seemed "hot" - too alcoholic and not as smooth as I would expect from this area - perhaps too young to drink just now?

Darker than most Tempranillos, this one is deep purple with strong legs. Shitake mushroom, minerals, loomy and silky smooth with subtle, supple, hints of leather.

Tempranillos need time. This hefty fellow is still a bit prickly with acid. Advice to decant and wait a day is exact. Works with rib steak or cream cheeses. Beautiful color and legs. Plan is to try to live longer that...

Carnation pink color. Notes of tart, early summer strawberries, with just a hint of that signature spicy tempranillo. Present but not overbearing acidity.

Vegetable/pepper nose, moderate tannins, slightly thin palate, long finish that's a little bitter but good.
