It is located in Oyón (Álava), with a total surface of 110.000 m2, more than 50.000 of which are occupied by buildings. Our vineyards are located in Cenicero (Rioja Alta), close to the Najerilla river (a tributary to the Ebro river), facing Northwest and with a, predominantly, ferric-clayey soil. The rest of the grapes come from selected winegrowers in Rioja Alavesa. All the grapes are fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. We currently elaborate 23 millions of kg of grapes approximately. – Description from JasminaDragoljevic

  • Bodegas El Coto Tempranillo Rioja Coto de Imaz Reserva 2004

    Snoothrank:

Tasted my first tempranillo today, and absolutely loved it! I am a huge fan of Merlots, and the Bodegas Tempranillo reminded me of a a fine glass of good Merlot. It was fresh, creamy, fruity and delicious on it's own, as well as alongside a meaty bolognese. Very clean finish! Delicious! Read More
