  • Bodega Calle Dharma Reserva Mendoza 2015

Soft clay and earth with perfumed cherry fruit on the nose. Syrupy in character and heft, this brings loads of fruit character - cherry and red currant with a mouth full of concentrated fruit, rich spice, milk chocolate and chewy tannins on the finish. Read More

  • Bodega Calle la Mano Derecha Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva Mendoza 2014

Intriguing floral and herbal notes here with black currant and strawberry fruit and pleasant briny minerality. On the palate this is medium bodied, a bit restrained around the edges, but still showing nice blackberry and black currant fruit, quite dry with nice spice and good acidity. This presents a bit herbal at its core and is quite earthy by... Read More

  • Bodega Calle El Olvidado Tempranillo Reserva Mendoza 2014

Dirty, earthy and smoky with fresh field paddy notes and black pepper spice on top of blackberry and black currant fruit. This is quite flavorful and expressive in the mouth, with a good mixture of red and black fruits ranging from cherry to black currant with some savory notes of tamari and some tart cranberry towards the earthy, creamy finish.... • Bodega Calle El Necio Syrah Reserva Mendoza 2014

Dusty and savory aromas with a sticky, resinous note and a ripe cherry, floral note. Perky acidity and dry red fruit make an expressive palate of licorice root, red currant and cranberry fruit and a thick dark chocolate finish. Read More

  • Bodega Calle El Necio Reserva Syrah 2012

Interesting Argentinian syrah. Loads of dark fruit on the nose. On the palate is ripe black cherry, a touch of smoke, tar, and a bit of heat from the 15% abv. This is a fairly big but one dimensional syrah that probably could use more air or age than what I've given it. Read More

  • Bodega Elvira Calle Malbec Alberti 154 2008

Raspberry front not at all tart but just the hint of tannic acid, some boysenberry to vanilla sweet mid leather notes to short lived chewiness. Sustained finish with a little coffee and even tobacco and liquorice right at the end. Quite a kaleidoscope for a young Malbec. Maybe not one for the purists But i would drink again ... maybe en Mendoza,... Read More
