Blue Nun is one of the most famous wines in the world, originally from the Rheinhesse region of Germany. The original wine was first produced in the early 1920s by H. The wine was an instant success in the U.K. and eventually became popular in the US, peaking in the 1970s. Blue Nun is responsible for creating the American association with sweet German wines, and popularizing the “Rhine” jug style that is still produced. The magic however is in the taste, jammy and honeyed with a rather solid mouthfeel. Absolutely no hint or taste of grape rather a complex amalgamation of Pineapple, Lychee, Figs & Peac... Read More
